Week 9





This week we have a meeting about task distribution for final report. All the group member was assign to do the task fairly. Each group member must complete the task given base on the gantt chart. Then we need to settle down the development of the project and testing. This is the task that we need to complete and submit to the lecturer.

Week 8

Meeting was held to follow up a progress report from each group members and discuss the preparation like finalized and centralized information about project before meeting with lecturer on Thursday, 11.30 a.m – 12 p.m at faculty. All the team members attended the meeting except one of our group members. A discussion among team members was held at starbuck on Wednesday at 10 a.m and finished around 10.40 a.m.

All the team members present their task and also we had discussed about the development stage of our project. For the information, our group project now in stage integrating module of development stage. Our group members now coorperate with each other to try finished our own module and compile all to make one complete software based on what user need.

On Thursday, 19 February 2009, we all was meeting with our lecturer En. Azhar at faculty. We discussed about our progress report at all, which phase of development stage our project now, how to make clients static with their requirements without let them easy to change requirements they discuss with us before this and other than that which related with our project. We also present our project interface to lecturer during the discussion.

Week 7

Meeting was held to discuss the group project’s Gantt chart of Ten10 Corporation. All the team members attended the meeting except of one member. A discussion was held on Thursday, 12 February at One Stop Center. All the team members were required to design a Gantt chart before attend the meeting in order to compare their works among the group members during the meeting to make sure all the important information are stated inside the Gantt chart. A Gantt chart was submitted to lecturer at 10.10am based on the instructions that given by the lecturer. Below are the instructions of the task for Software Project Management:-


1. The Gantt chart is based on the SPM stage.
2. Every stage must be details with the list of related activities.
3. Every activity should have start date and end date.
4. This Gantt chart cover from beginning until the project complete (submission project)
5. Each group free to use any software to develop Gantt chart such as Microsoft project.
6. Submission time 12/2/2009 before 10.26 am.

Week 6

Meeting : 7th February 2009, Saturday, 9.15pm to 10.15pm

Meeting was held to discuss and restructure the organization of Ten10 Corporation. One of our team members was fired from the company due of world economy crisis. A discussion was held among all the company leaders and lecturer on Tuesday, 3rd February to solve and discuss about this problem. The decision was made and one member from each team was fired including Ten10Corporation Company. Through the discussion, we had decided to redistribute the task again to each team member because of this restructure of organization.

All the team members need to find the information related to the stages in Software Project Management. All the information will be used to complete the task that given by the lecturer and was submitted before the class ended. Below are the stages in Software Project Management:-

• Initiating - begins with the submission of a Project Proposal or Feasibility Study.
• Planning and design - includes the preparation and approval of a Project Plan.
• Executing - covers the implementation of the approved Project Plan.
• Halted - indicates that project has paused while significant changes are considered or taking place.
• Terminated - this status results when a project is killed at any stage, for whatever reason.
• Closing - includes the formal acceptance of the project and the ending thereof.
• Retired - after completion or termination, a project is retired after submission of a Project Activity Completion Report for all projects and, then, a Post Implementation Review, if required.

The development courseware of learning alphabets and numbers is in progress.

Week 5

No meeting was held during week 5 due to the 1 week holiday for the Chinese New Year celebration. Progress of the development still goes on as we had assigned tasks equally to each member before the holiday. All the members were required to search for information that are relevant and useful in the development process of the courseware.
