Week 6

Meeting : 7th February 2009, Saturday, 9.15pm to 10.15pm

Meeting was held to discuss and restructure the organization of Ten10 Corporation. One of our team members was fired from the company due of world economy crisis. A discussion was held among all the company leaders and lecturer on Tuesday, 3rd February to solve and discuss about this problem. The decision was made and one member from each team was fired including Ten10Corporation Company. Through the discussion, we had decided to redistribute the task again to each team member because of this restructure of organization.

All the team members need to find the information related to the stages in Software Project Management. All the information will be used to complete the task that given by the lecturer and was submitted before the class ended. Below are the stages in Software Project Management:-

• Initiating - begins with the submission of a Project Proposal or Feasibility Study.
• Planning and design - includes the preparation and approval of a Project Plan.
• Executing - covers the implementation of the approved Project Plan.
• Halted - indicates that project has paused while significant changes are considered or taking place.
• Terminated - this status results when a project is killed at any stage, for whatever reason.
• Closing - includes the formal acceptance of the project and the ending thereof.
• Retired - after completion or termination, a project is retired after submission of a Project Activity Completion Report for all projects and, then, a Post Implementation Review, if required.
